who is victoria smith?

Victoria Smith was born Elena Valentova to Yury Velentov and Victoria Smith in Reutov, Russia. Her father, Yury, worked as a mounted policeman for the Main Directorate of Internal Affairs of the city of Moscow, or simply, the Moscow Police. Her mother Victoria was a staffer for the US Embassy in Moscow.

When Elena was 9 years old, her father died in the line of duty. Aleski Velentov, Yury’s older brother, a Police Captain in the Criminal Investigation Division, took them in.

Aleski was a single father raising two boys Palvo and Uri, 12 and 13. He raised her as his own daughter. Having two older brothers made her very competitive and she learned to shoot at a young age. She later joined the military and trained as a sniper. She only saw one combat engagement when her caravan came under fire by insurgents.

After the military she became a bodyguard for a local business man and later joined Dayton International. She has worked for the agency for 6 years.
