who is edward tennyson?
Edward Tennyson wants to live in a world where he can write full time during the week and game all weekend.
Back in the dawn of time, in the mid-1980s, we find our young writer feasting on a daily diet of classic shows like Star Trek: TOS, Doctor Who (Tom Baker years), Battlestar Galactica, the original not that monstrosity bearing its name years later, and Mission Impossible. From this stew of universes he created imaginary worlds and wrote stories about them. At first he created story boards depicting fantastical and epic battles, later he designed a role-playing game based on that world, with his own hellish version of THACTO, and wrote stories about the characters. Fast forward years later he’s still writing about imaginary worlds and has created an entire d20 universe called Earthdark and wrote a series of modules and lore for the game that kept him and his friends entertained for years. The novel Once Upon A Spy is a modern version of an unpublished novel-length fantasy story set in that universe. When he’s not working, you can find him thinking about the next story to write and gaming. |
